And so. The answers are?
Ahhhh.
A question. (Several, actually).
The BBC is publicly funded. Yes?
Therefore its employees are publicly accountable. Yes?
And the idea of blogs is that they are open to debate (ie: exchanges of ideas). Yes?
Then why is the blog of Betsan Powys, paid out of the public purse (and therefore accountable to you and me), blocking all contributions while she discusses the demise of S4C?
Take a long, hard, look at the BBC Charter and its producer guidelines.
This is sailing close to the wind.
There are very substantial winds of change taking place.
Funding questions don't just affect S4C.
I'm sure you get my drift.
A public servant .... is a public servant .... is a public servant .... until (s)he no longer becomes public servant.
